Scheduling

We help our clients identify and schedule the tasks that are specific to their development project. By clearly identifying the major development and approval milestones, and attaching required or desired dates, we create a framework within which to plan, assign, and manage the development tasks. This can be a very simple project outline or a highly detailed, resource- and cost-loaded document.

The primary value of the schedule is in creating a roadmap of sequenced activities, and obtaining the “buy-in” of participants. In this way, all team members are aware of their responsibilities and how they affect other team members. More advanced project management techniques such as resource leveling and cost control can be applied to very complex projects. Most of our clients, however, find that an initial detailed schedule is sufficient to understand the project dynamics so that when unexpected external events occur, they have a framework within which to assess the overall effect on completion.

We are fluent in both Microsoft and Primavera project management software.
